The Child Care and Early Years Division is the designated service system manager for provincial funding for licensed child care and EarlyON Child and Family Centres, and directly operates a Licensed Home Child Care agency in the County of Renfrew.
Funding for licensed child care includes the management of both Fee Subsidy and Integration Services for children and families residing in Renfrew County. Fee Subsidy is available to families who qualify to help offset the costs of childcare for children up to 12 years of age. Integration Services supports the integration and inclusion of children into a licensed child care setting when required. In addition they also provide pedagogical support, and professional development for early learning practitioners and programs.
The County of Renfrew is also the municipal service manager for the EarlyON Child and Family Centres which are free drop-in programs for caregivers and children from birth to 6 years old. Our centres are welcoming places for all families, and offers a range of services that includes:
